The Reality of LGBTQ+ Youth Mental Health: Insights from the Trevor Project

In this episode, we discuss the Trevor Project's 2024 US National Survey on the mental health of LGBTQ+ young people. We go over the results together to examine what exactly LGBTQ+ youth are experiencing so we can understand how to better support them. With a blend of data, and insights, this conversation is a timely and relevant conversation about mental health.

I am a full-time educator and part-time content creator and podcaster, and I have a passion for filling the gaps in LGBTQ+ history, not only to share the history I wish I would have known when I was younger, but also to resonate with individuals worldwide.

As a Queer femme living in the South, my commitment to LGBTQ+ stories goes beyond historical narratives. I know what it can feel like to feel alone, and so it's my goal to affirm that there are others like us, providing solace and a sense of belonging to those who may have felt isolated.
